OUR JOURNEY OVER THE YEARS
1994
Founding of Mercobor
Applying technology and excellence in the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of technical components in rubber and engineering plastics, delivering efficient and high-performance solutions.
1999
Expansion to a 1,000 m² facility
The move to a larger facility made it possible to expand the manufacturing capacity and acquire new presses and injection machines. This advancement strengthened production capabilities, attracted new clients, and consolidated the development of the technical team, enabling greater rigor in quality control and applied engineering.
2009–2012
New headquarters with 2,500 m²
The inauguration of the new facility represents a significant leap in infrastructure and production efficiency, improving operational flow and the development of internal processes. In 2010, an additional expansion of 500 m² dedicated to compound preparation further enhanced technical standardization and the ability to meet customized demands.
2018–2019
Expansion to more than 4,500 m²
We began an expansion of an additional 1,500 m² to increase production capacity and accommodate new machinery and specialized professionals. Completed in 2019, this expansion brought the total built area to more than 4,500 m², resulting in a modern and technological industrial space designed to meet demands of greater scale and complexity.
2019
Implementation of solar energy
In the same year as the expansion, we advanced our sustainability efforts with the installation of solar panels covering a significant portion of the factory roof. This initiative enabled more than 70% of our energy consumption to come from renewable sources, reducing environmental impact and reinforcing our commitment to responsible production.
2022
Lgpd compliance
Mercobor achieves compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), ensuring transparency and responsibility in the handling of personal information. This milestone strengthens trust with employees, partners, and clients, aligning internal processes with best practices in governance and compliance.
2024
30 years of Mercobor

We are an industry with more than three decades of experience, headquartered in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Founded by Gilberto Brocco in 1994, our trajectory has been marked by tradition, ethics, and innovation.
