Decisions related to production consider efficiency, environmental compliance, and the responsible use of resources, with continuous and measurable practices aimed at reducing impacts and maintaining environmental balance.
Environmental Preservation Area
We maintain a significant area of preserved native forest within the company’s grounds, located along the banks of the Arroio da Manteiga. This area includes cataloged and monitored species, ensuring the protection of local flora and fauna. In addition, we promote a respectful and responsible coexistence between our industrial activities and the surrounding natural ecosystem.
Solar Energy
Since 2019, we have been operating with solar energy installed across a large portion of our industrial facility, resulting in:
- Approximately 70% reduction in conventional energy consumption
- Operation powered by a clean and renewable energy source
- Significant reduction in indirect carbon emissions
Water Reuse and Efficient Resource Management
We have implemented rainwater harvesting and reuse systems, supplying water for sanitary facilities and certain stages of the production process. This initiative helps reduce water consumption, minimize waste, and optimize the use of an essential natural resource.
Proper Disposal of Industrial Waste
All production scraps, disposals, and technical waste generated during our manufacturing processes are properly managed through RECITIRES – Industrial Solid Waste Foundation.
